About Poplet
A really cool place that is good — and has been, since the day we opened our doors.
One roof, four ideas
Poplet began with a question we kept asking ourselves: why do you have to leave one place to find another? A good meal is at one address, a good night out is at another, and somewhere to stay is a taxi ride away from both.
So we built all of it into one building: a proper restaurant kitchen, a relaxed lounge bar, seven cosy rooms upstairs, and a full calendar of entertainment — bingo, disco, karaoke, quiz nights, live shows, and more. Poplet is what happens when you stop separating "dinner," "a night out," and "a place to stay" into three different plans.
Everyone's invited — genuinely
We built Poplet on one rule: nothing here is for adults only. Families, couples, groups of friends, solo travellers, grandparents, and kids all get the same warm welcome, whether it's a Tuesday lunch or a Saturday disco.
All ages, always
Every event, every night, every room — open to guests of every age, no exceptions.
Food that means it
Honest cooking, generous portions, and a menu built around what people actually want to eat.
A reason to stay late
Something's always on — and if you'd rather not go home after, we've got a room for that.
Come for one thing, stay for all four
Most guests start with just a table. Then they notice the lounge, spot the what's-on board, and end up asking about a room for next time. That's the idea behind Poplet — not four separate businesses sharing a building, but one place designed to hold your whole day, or your whole weekend.
